We had a fantastic stay at the River Cottage. The location was incredibly peaceful and tranquil, with the soothing sounds of the river and birds adding to the relaxation. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and had a wonderful scent. The well-stocked kitchen made cooking a breeze, and the view of the river was truly breathtaking. The owner was friendly and always available if we needed anything. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the shower was spacious and powerful. Additionally, we were pleased with the decent Wifi connection and the privacy glazing on the bedroom windows. We also appreciated the small freezer compartment in the fridge. Taking our dog with us was no problem at all. We will definitely be returning to this lovely retreat.
